1st Natchez Writers Event

Y’all Means All Natchez and Literary Natchez are hosting the 1st Annual Literary Natchez Writers Event on April 12, 2025, featuring Natchez native R.J. Lee (Robert Kuehnle). Join us at Big Muddy Inn, 3-5 PM for a talk, reading, and book signing of his latest novel, The Majestic Leo Marble.

To inspire local writers, we’re hosting a Writing Competition on the theme “Writing Your Life: Coming of Age.” Submissions (up to 1,000 words) are due April 5. Finalists will read their work at the event, with cash prizes awarded!

Saturday presents Carson Kressley as host and MC for our surprise guest drag competition! Josalyn Royale co-hosts and entertains the crowd along with more guest performances.

Teams will go through a ‘quick change’ on stage with an assistance team, scurry to get into drag and perform their favorite song - lip-sync style!
